About Riley
Riley Swenson is a multi faceted journalist specializing in play-by-play broadcasting and multimedia journalism. He is currently a Broadcast Intern with the Minnesota Twins after graduating from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Riley is formerly a member of Blaze Radio, Arizona State's student radio station. In the club he is a play-by-play broadcaster, calling football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and water polo. He has also done play-by-play for the Pac-12 Digital Network, calling baseball and softball.

In addition to that, he worked for the Sun Devil Radio Network. In that role he assisted with live on-air production of Arizona State sporting events, appears on the Arizona State Football Pregame Show, and produced coaches shows which are broadcasted on the local FOX station.
He is also a former member of the Walter Cronkite Sports Network (WCSN) and Cronkite News, where he anchored live sportscasts and was a broadcast reporter.

While attending ASU, Riley spent his summers in various positions. He has done play-by-play broadcasting, most recently for the Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League, along with Bison 1660, the flagship station of North Dakota State University, as well as Magnitude Sports, a streaming service in the Fargo, ND area, broadcasting baseball. Riley also has a news background, having served as an MMJ with WDAY-TV in Fargo.

Riley began his broadcasting career in his hometown of Moorhead, MN at Moorhead High School with the streaming service SpudsTV. He was apart of the start up of the organization, being the first student broadcaster. Riley conducted interviews, hosted a weekly hockey show, and was the main play-by-play broadcaster for the school's boys and girls soccer teams.
